Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on dodoyachting.com. In short: analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you accept them.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, keep small pieces of information on your device.

2. Strictly necessary

These are needed for the website to work securely and cannot be switched off. They do not identify you personally.

  • Cloudflare security cookies (for example __cf_bm, cf_clearance) — set by our hosting provider to tell people from bots. Kept from 30 minutes up to a few days.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — a privacy-friendly check on our forms that confirms a real person is sending them.

3. Preferences

  • dodo:currency (local storage) — remembers the currency you chose for prices. It stays on your device until you clear your browser data.
  • dodo:plan (local storage) — only if you tick “Remember my plan” in the charter designer: your trip choices (dates, guests, style, route, toys), never contact or health details. Kept for up to 90 days; untick to delete it.
  • Your language is part of the page address (for example /tr), so no cookie is needed for it.

4. Analytics and advertising

Our own visit counter uses no cookies and stores only daily totals (page views, clicks on WhatsApp or phone, form starts), never your IP address or an identifier, so it runs without asking.

When you arrive through a link with campaign tags, we keep the campaign name, the referring site and your first page in session storage (dodo:attr) until you close the tab, and send them only if you submit an enquiry.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

    5. Third-party content

When you open WhatsApp or Instagram from our website, or view an embedded virtual tour, those providers may set their own cookies under their own policies.

    6. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop our forms from working.
